DESCRIPTION:
French, large swinger, mysterious clock, 8 days, time only, spring driven movement in extra long swinging arm measuring 35in mounted on a statue of "VICTOIRE" after the original by Bruchon, a winged male resting on red marble base.
CONDITION:
this clock is in excellent condition with great original patina with minor wear. The suspension block is separated from the arm. The movement, ball and arm are all original and are unmarked. There is a repair on the statue near the wrist and there is some minor loss to finish on the ball. This large and impressive model is one of a series by Bruchon, others which he have sold in the past for over $3000.
